The projector
Aurzen EAZZE D1R air, 1080p, with Roku built in. There is no TV and no cable in the suite, this is how you watch things.
Turning it on
- Make sure it is plugged in. It is happiest on power rather than battery for a whole film.
- Press the power button on the remote. Give it a moment, it takes a few seconds to wake up.
- It should already be on our wifi and signed in, so you can go straight to whatever you want to watch.
If the picture looks soft or crooked
This one focuses and squares itself up automatically, so the quickest fix is simply to nudge the projector slightly. That retriggers it.
If you would rather do it properly, go to Home, then Settings, then Projector settings, and choose Start auto focus or Start auto keystone. The same menu has manual sliders if you want to fine tune it yourself.
Signing in to your own accounts
You are very welcome to sign in to Netflix, Max, or anything else you use. We only ask that you sign yourself out before you leave, purely so the next guest does not end up in your account.
Playing something from your phone
iPhone or iPad. Make sure your phone is on the same wifi, then open Screen Mirroring in Control Centre and pick the projector. If AirPlay is not showing, it lives under Home, Settings, Apple AirPlay and HomeKit.
Android. Turn on Smart View, Wireless Display or Multi screen on your phone, then choose the projector from the list.
Sound
The built in speaker is perfectly good for most things. If you want to pair a bluetooth speaker or headphones, go to Home, then Settings, then Remotes and devices, then Bluetooth headphones and speakers, and choose Add new bluetooth audio device.
If it will not connect to wifi
It works on both the 2.4 and 5 gigahertz networks. If it is being stubborn, move it a little closer to the router, or restart the projector. If it still will not behave, message us and we will take care of it, please do not spend your evening troubleshooting.
